Works closely with the City and Community organizations to make sure area businesses are informed of local issues and activities, as well as serves as a liaison between area businesses and local officials. Promotes spending at Chamber member businesses through Buffalo Bucks and the Perk Program. Buffalo Bucks are available for purchase. Buffalo Bucks are gift certificates that can be used like a check at any of the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses. The Perk Program provides members with the opportunity to advertise specials or services to other Chamber members.

Offers information about Buffalo and Chamber businesses through the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce web site (www.buffalochamber.org). The Buffalo Chamber website lists all members free of charge and also communicates upcoming events. The Buffalo Chamber website typically receives between 30,000 to 60,000 hits each month. For a minimal fee, Chamber members can advertise or establish a link to their websites.

Provides an informative newsletter to communicate upcoming events and promote area businesses. A Chamber member will be highlighted in each newsletter to offer additional awareness of a local business. Chamber members can advertise by inserting a flyer in the newsletter for a nominal fee.

Produces and distributes The Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce Directory, which lists area Chamber businesses as well as provides information on what Buffalo has to offer. The directories are sent to area businesses as well as given to visitors and residents to increase awareness of the Chamber businesses. Chamber members are given an opportunity to do additional advertising in the directory for minimal marketing fees.

Maintains a staffed Chamber office to provide information to new residents and visitors on local businesses as well as to help direct their business affairs to participating chamber businesses. The Chamber Office is also available to help area members or answer any questions they may have.

Organizes or sponsors several community events such as the annual Arts & Crafts Festival, Buffalo Days, and the Buffalo Rodeo. Organizes an Employee Appreciation Day for Chamber members to invite their employees to an appreciation event such as lunch in the park.

Selects an Outstanding Citizen each year. Provides $2000 in scholarships to a Buffalo High School.
