Deck the Halls in Downtown Buffalo

Saturday, December 8, 2012...Come to Downtown Buffalo and Deck the Halls! Stores open 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Get all your holiday shopping done locally and have fun doing it! Kid free shopping will be available to adults by dropping off your children at “The Place to Party” by Something Savvy for $10 per hour. The children will have fun while you shop! Many local retailers will be holding a $20 gift card drawing. Look for the participating poster in shop windows.

Make sure you visit Mrs. Claus’s Christmas Cottage where there will be a holiday model train, wooden toys, Christmas treats, Farmer’s Market vendors, and Christmas jewelry making. The event will take place in the old Hallmark store on 1st Avenue from 10 am – 3 pm.

Following the event will be Christmas in the Park at Sturges Park from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Join us as we celebrate the holiday season in Sturges Park with a bonfire, hot chocolate, cookies, Santa Claus, a horse drawn carriage ride and musical entertainment. The event concludes when the Mayor of Buffalo lights the Christmas tree around 5 pm. For more information call 763-682-4902.
