Buffalo Run 5K and Kids Run

 

Celebrate the closing of Buffalo Days by participating in the Buffalo Run 5k and Kids Fun Run on Sunday, June 19, at 8:30 a.m., in Sturges Park. The Kids Fun Run will have two age groups: ages 6 and under...1/4 mile run; ages 7-12...1 mile run. The top boy and girl in each age bracket will each win a prize. This run will take place after the Buffalo Run 5k is completed.  If you would like to print a flyer about the event - click here.

Registration

Registration on or before June 17 is $25 for the 5k and $10 for the Kids Fun Run. Registration on race day is $30 for the 5k and $12 for the Kids Fun Run.  Click here to PRINT a registration form. Registration forms may be dropped off or mailed to the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce, 205 Central Avenue, Buffalo, MN  55313. Please remit payment to Buffalo Days. The Chamber is located next to the downtown post office.

7:30 a.m.    Registration
8:30 a.m.    Buffalo Run 5k begins
9:15 a.m.    Approximate start time of the Kids Fun Run

9:30 a.m.    Awards

 
Course
Participants in the 5k will begin in Sturges Park, run along the banks of Buffalo Lake and return back to the park where refreshments will be waiting. Kids will run the shorter version of the same route once the last 5k participant crosses the finish line.
  

Prizes 

Prizes for the 5k will be given to the top three finishers in each age bracket. (13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+). A grand prize will be given to the overall top male and female.
